Statute of the high schoolThe high school of National Engineers of Sfax, delivers the national Diploma of Engineers in the following specialities :

- Electromechanical Engineering
- Materials Engineering
- Computer science Engineering
- Biological Engineering
- Georesourses and Environment
The admission to the High school of National Engineers of Sfax, in the high of the preparation and the obtainment of the national Diploma of Engineers, took place, in conformity to the dispositions of fifth article of the decree of 95-2602 of the twenty-fifth of December 1995 sighting.
The formation duration in the High School of National Engineers of Sfax is of three years sanctioned by the obtaining of National Engineers of Sfax, in one of the mentioned above specialists in the article two.
Teachnig, in each of these specialists, comprises a volume of 2700 hours at minimum divided into the three years of study.
The first and the second years of studies are made up each of thirty six weeks of teaching in which four weeks a period of probation however the third academic year is composed of thirty two weeks in which sixteen weeks are reserved to the realization of the Ending Studies Project.
The teachnigs are shaped into integral course, practical works and into personal frame works.
The studies are organized into teaching units or modules. These modules are regrouped in modules groups as a unit of knowledge evaluation.
The modules in could be obligatory or in choice. The modules in choice could be not assured if the number of students exercing these studies is unsuffisant, the students having made this choice are called to report it into one of the other modules in choice.
The regime of studies ,in order to obtain the national diploma of Engineering from the High School of national Engineers of Sfax, is composed in the first year a commons teaching and a specialist studies.
The students repartition into the different specialists presented in the article 1 from the above fixed is done according to a common teaching of a duration from one to three months.
This repartition is, infact made with accordance, to the students wishes, to the nature of the competitive examinations origin, and to their scores in this latter and hence to the capabilities of reception of the specialities.
It is proclaimed by the High School Director after the orientation commission’s opinion which is composed of the High School Director, the studies and Probation Director, the Departments Directors.
In the third year, the students of a speciality are made divided into the different options from that mentioned.
The repartition of students in these options is made in accordance with the students’s own wishes, their results, and to the capabilities of reception of each option.
However, an option could only be assured if the student's numbers asking it is suffissiant.

The modules, their regroupment, the shape teachings that it comports and their global timing huge and even the tests coefficients are determined to each year of study and for each speciality accordingly to tables in the modules sections and each department coefficients.

The formation in each of the specialities fixed in the article 1 is ended by an obligatory probation in the first and the second year and then by an ending studies project in the third year .
The ending studies project with professional characteristics and according to the speciality studied, is an engineer’s work framed by a tutor.
The assiduousness to all the teaching and all the activities of the studies planning are obligatory.
When ever absences in a group of modules or in an autonomous module depasses 20% general timing volume which is programmed to it by the studies planning's, the concerned of the student is not allowed to present in the principal cession in the tests of these modules.
Henceforth the sum of the absences couldn’t overcome 10% from the global timing volume of a year of study,in such case the concerned student is not allowed to present into the principal session tests.
The studies of the third year, the probations or the Ending study project could be done abroad in cooperating convention between the High School of National Engineers of Sfax and some Institutes of formation including the specialities concerned with.
The studies abroad are evaluated by the receptor Institute.
The results of this evaluation are counted in the results of the student in concern.
